The Greenville Office of North Mississippi Rural Legal Services conducted an Outreach Day on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 to assist families in the Greenville office service area with guardianships needed to enroll children in local schools. This service was performed for families in order to allow the children to enter the school system where the custodial relative resides (for example: when a grandchild has come to live with a grand parent). Many local vendors donated refreshments, and local agencies and businesses maintained booths at the event held on the front lawn of NMRLS= Greenville Office.
