Jeremy Eisler, Director of Litigation for Statewide Legal Services Programs spoke on CONSUMER LAW UPDATE: ALTERNATIVES TO BANKRUPTCY

As always, the conference attracted a broad cross-section of the elderly as well as advocates for the elderly

Richard A Courtney, CELA, closed out the morning  session with a presentation on MEDICAID ISSUES FROM A CLIENT’S PERSPECTIVE

Lunch for the conference was served on the first floor of the University of Mississippi Law Center in the Law School Mall.

Carolyn Sampson, MICAP Coordinator, Department of Human Services/Division of Aging & Adult Services began the afternoon session with an UPDATE ON THE MEDICARE MODERNIZATION ACT

Molly Miller, Special Assistant Attorney General spoke on THE VULNERABLE ADULTS ACT


T.H. Freeland, IV of Freeland and Freeland concluded the conference with ETHICAL ISSUES IN ELDER LAW

Catherine V. "Ginny" Kilgore, NMRLS' Elder Law Project Director coordinated the program.
